Appearance
Camephyte. Perennial plant, up to 40 cm high. Ascending stems, whitish. Leaves up to 12 x 2.5 mm, acute, ending in a hyaline mucron, petiolate, fleshy, with an indumentum of stellate hairs, revolute margin, central vein very marked on the underside. Stipules up to 2 mm long, with 1-3 terminal setaceous hairs. Inflorescence in raceme, with up to 10 flowers. Linear bracts, up to 8 mm long at anthesis. External sepals 2, up to 2.5 mm in length. Internal sepals 5, up to 5.5 x 4 mm, intercostal spaces glabrous or with scattered stellate hairs. Petals 5, white. Fruit in capsule, up to 4 mm long, hirsute. Seeds up to 1.5 mm.Distribution
