Appearance

A small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with curved, unbranched, leafy stems carrying many lanceolate, imbricating, spreading leaves that bloom on a very short inflorescence with a single, fan-shaped flower arising from the bases of the numerous imbricate leaves.

Distribution

Found in Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, and the Molucca Islands

Habitat

Semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savanna-like woodlands
