Appearance

Euphorbia pithyusa is a dense domed-shaped shrub, formed from many upright stems. The stems are tightly packed with small feathery leaves that are blue-green. Small heads of greenish yellow flowers (bracts) are borne in summer, but the main feature of this plant is its delicate feathery, bluish foliage.

Distribution

Native range of this species is W. & Central Mediterranean.

Habitat

Sands and rocks of the Mediterranean coast.
