
Appearance
The facies is similar to that of Zamarada species but distinguished by a brighter red colour to the borders which extends down the dorsums of fore- and hindwings. The interior margin of the border is sinuous rather than with a single indentation, the sinuousity marked by a greyish band that is edged red on each side. There is a yellowish subapical spot to the forewing.Distribution
