Xerodes ypsaria is a moth in the family Geometridae.

Appearance

The forewings are a dull, medium to light, rufous brown-grey. The postmedials are indistinct rows of black dots on the veins, that on the forewing gently sigmoid. The discal spots are also small, black. Many specimens have straight, rather diffuse oblique black medials traversing the wings just distal to the discal spots. Pale yellow patches often occur between the forewing medial and postmedial on either side of CuA2.
