Appearance
It is a small sized, cool growing terrestrial or occasional epiphyte with a narrow creeping rhizome with 2.8 to 3.2" [7 to 8 cm] between each narrowly cylindrical pseudobulb enveloped by persistent leaf sheaths and carrying 3 to 4, narrowly elliptic, acuminate, undulate margins, plicate, 3 to 5 main nerves, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on a lateral, erect, lax, 5.6" to 12" [14 to 30 cm] long, oblong to ovate, racemose, to 10 flowered inflorescence arising at the base of the pseudobulb with ovate-elliptic, acuminate, deciduous floral bracts.Distribution
