Malayan flat-shelled turtle (Notochelys platynota)

Blocked by Gate! Saw this Flat-Shelled Turtle trying to get to the river, but was blocked by the wooden fence put up at the edge of the river. We transferred it to the river after taking our pics.

This Turtle is listed as Vulnerable under the IUCN Red List.

Distribution

Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, West Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore.
Type locality: "in India Orientali", later restricted to "Sumatra; Singapore" by Gray.
