Oxythyrea noemi is a species of chafer beetle in the family Scarabaeidae.

Appearance

This species is often of matte aspect and almost hairless. The pronotum has 4–6 white spots in two longitudinal rows. In some specimens, only the basal spots are clearly visible. The pronotum is laterally delimited by white interrupted lines consisting of three white spots on each side. In some specimens, these lines are uninterrupted or only one pair of spots is visible posteriorly. Elytra have several irregular, small white spots, not rounded, of different size, some of which are confuent. The distribution of spots on elytra is greatly variable; white spots on pronotum and elytra are very faint in some specimens.The abdomen is ventrally on each side with 5 white spots in male, 3 in female.
