Habitat

T. koehleri is locally common in the hills and mountains of central and south-eastern Europe
from the Pyrenees to Bulgaria and from Belgium to south Italy.

Adults are mostly found feeding in flowers of Geranium, but oviposition has been observed on Cardamine amara L. and Myosotis palustris The larvae feed on Cardamine amara L. and on Cardaminopsis halleri (Brassicaceae) but not on Myosotis.
