Suniana sunias

"Suniana sunias" is a butterfly of the family Hesperiidae. It is found in Indonesia, Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. The wingspan is about 25 mm.
Wide brand grass dart Suniana sunias ssp. rectivitta. (Sub-species rectivitta in New South Wales and Queensland. Sub-species sauda in the Northern Territory). 

This little butterfly was seen in a roadside verge making its way through the foliage.  

Larvae feed on various grasses.

Food

The larvae feed on "Sorghum verticilliflorum", "Paspalum urvillei", "Panicum maximum", "Leersia hexandra" and other "Leersia" species. They rest in a shelter made from blades of their host plant joined with silk.
