Appearance

A 5-7mm yellow-brown, matte or vaguely shiny shortly oval Tenebrionid. The head and pronotum can be a tad darker than the elytra and those will sometimes carry darker spots.

Distribution

This species has been recorded from Poland and Sweden in the north to the Iberian peninsula in the south, including the Azores and Canary Islands.
