Postia livens is a polypore in the family Fomitopsidaceae. DNA analyses have revealed that there are several different species that were previously under the name Postia caesia. Its common name is “Blue Cheese Polypore”.

Appearance

Soft, spongy polypore with a pubescent cap that is white with blue and gray. Pores are white and like the cap, they bruise blue. Spores are white to pale blue. Fragrant.
