Soft, spongy, white fungus. It bruised blue-gray and had pores on the underside. Odor was very fragrant.

Postia livens is a polypore in the family Fomitopsidaceae. DNA analyses have revealed that there are several different species that were previously under the name Postia caesia. Its common name is “Blue Cheese Polypore”.
