Appearance

green with brown or reddish edges to the pronotum (the raised triangular area between the wings) and a brown or reddish ridge along the back; pronotal horns not as strongly recurved as in C. tauriniformis. Legs usually greenish proximally, red- or brown-tinged distally; unusually dark specimens may have all-brown legs. [based on Dr Hamilton's comments]
