Caloptilia fidella is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is found from Germany to Italy and North Macedonia and from France to Russia and Ukraine.

Caloptilia fidella develops on Common Hop (Humulus lupulus), at first in a leaf mine branching off of the main vein. Later the caterpillar leaves the mine and spins a protective roll from the tip of the leaf (or other part of the margin) where it feeds on the inside for a while. It may later abandon this case/roll and create another one for fresh food, before pupating.
