Appearance

Males are brownish and have elongated scales at the tip of the abdomen. Females have a similar pattern, but in shades of gray. Adults are on wing from May to September.

TL: ~8 mm. Sexually dimorphic. Male has pinkish brown FW with wide chestnut brown bands and whitish lines, while the female is similar, but more pale and gray. Hosts: Unknown. Status: Common.
