Tumidodromia dormia is a species of Sponge Crab from the family of Tumidodromia.
Hats of Napoleon Bonaparte? This is a cute juvenile Sleepy Sponge Crab - Tumidodromia dormia.  The Crab is just around 3 cm width and is carrying a sponge to protect itself.  They carry the sponge using a pair of hind legs and over a period of time, the indentation of the sponge will fits nicely over the carapace. Naming

Previously, this species was classified under the genus Dromia, thus the species name Dromia dormia.
However, in 2009, the species was reclassified to the genus Tumidodromia.
