Mecinus pascuorum

''Mecinus pascuorum'' is a species of true weevil in the family of beetles known as Curculionidae.

Appearance

This is a small (1.5-2.1mm) weevil with relatively short legs and antennae. The elytra usually carry large reddish marks about from half length to the tip, but these can be extended to cover almost the entire elytra or reduced to render the elytra all blackish.
The legs are two-toned, with the femora and the tip of the claws blackish and all parts between these reddish-brown.
