Appearance
Zammara smaragdula is iridescent blue-green and has conspicuous pattern of spots on their fore wings that is said to be diagnostic (with much fewer marks than the comparable Zammara smaragdina).
Distribution
Originally described from "South America" without a location, it is currently known from Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia and , Brazil.References:
