Characters: Colonies are hemispherical. Columellae are large. Polyps are large, with drooping tentacles.
Colour: Brown or greenish-brown.

Naming

The scientific name of the species was first validly published in 1985 by Veron.

Indo-Pacific.

Least Concern.

Habitat

Habitat: Protected turbid reef environments.
