Distribution

Distribution. Widely distributed in the Indo-West Pacific from the Red Sea and
Kenya to Japan, Marshall Islands, and Fiji.

Habitat

This small commensal shrimp lives on various species of sea anemones, including Cryptodendrum adhaesivum and Stichodactyla haddoni. Found on Entacmaea quadricolor.

Reproduction

Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer.
