Fragile dagger moth

Acronicta fragilis (fragile dagger moth) is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found from Newfoundland to Florida, west across Canada, south to Kentucky and Minnesota. It is listed as a species of special concern in the US state of Connecticut.
