Distribution

Shrublet to 60 cm tall, usually almost leafless when in flower; stems usually appressed pubescent, ribbed. Leaves simple; blade ovate, oblong-elliptic or obovate, 2–8 x 1.5–3 mm, pubescent on both surfaces. Stipules absent. Racemes lax, 3–10-flowered, the rhachis becoming ± spinescent. Calyx 5–8 mm long, appressed pubescent, 2-lipped; lobes 2–2.5 times as long as the tube. Standard yellow, lined or flushed brown, glabrous; keel angular, (5–)6–9(–10) mm, with a straight circumflexed beak. Pod ellipsoid, 8–12 x 5–7 mm, glabrous, 2–6-seeded.
