Stenozygum comptum is a stink bug (Pentatomidae) from Indonesia in the genus Stenozygum, best known for the wide spread "pest" species Stenozygum coloratum and S. speciosum.
The genus Stenozygum is placed in the tribe Strachiini and as such closely related to other colourful bugs in the well known genera Bagrada and Eurydema. Placement of the species S. comptum in Stenozygum has been disputed by Ahmed & Kahn (1983) and hence not included in their revision of the genus, but without proper motivation and without placing it in a different genus, so status quo should be that it is currently still in Stenozygum.
