Zyxomma petiolatum, Ratmalana, Sri Lanka (Dingy Duskflyer) Fairly certain that this is Zyxomma petiolatum. I have used Bedjanic et als Dragonfly Fauna of Sri Lanka and another book by Gehan De Silva Wijeyaratne.
Having trouble setting the species. Wikepedia link is here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zyxomma_petiolatum Longtailed duskdarter,Sri Lanka,Zyxomma petiolatum, animal, animals, dragonflies, dragonfly, insect, insects

Habitat

Zyxomma petiolatum breeds in small pools, ponds, swamps and slow flowing rivers. It is crepuscular but may also be active during overcast days. Usually seen in the evening as an extremely rapid flyer, flying low over water-bodies, hawking midges and mosquitoes. In daytime it roosts among vegetation and can be difficult to find.
