Appearance

Wingspan is about 38mm. This species is differs from all ''Agathia'' species by having outer rufous area of inner edge evenly curved on fore wing and dentate on hind wings. The green patch below apex of each wing oval. The green spots towards inner margin of hind wings rarely developed. The ocellus more developed.

Larva green, with forsal prominences on first and eleventh somites. Pupa yellowish green above, green below, the abdominal somites black-speckled. The larvae feed on ''Ichnocarpus'', ''Nerium'' and ''Marsdenia'' species. Eggs are shining light green in color, oval, flat-topped or concave.
