Poecilesthus fasciatius (Fabricius, 1781), regionally known as "Zebra Beetle", is a beetle in the Tenebrionidae, subfamily Stenochiinae, tribe Stenochiini (formerly Coelometopinae, Coelometopini). Beetles in the genus are often misidentified as Erotylidae ("Pleasing Fungus Beetles") as they mimic various species of this family.
