Appearance

A small butterfly with a wingspan of 20-22 mm. The upperwings are dark brown. It has two prominent orange-crowned tornal spots in spaces two and three, the black post-discal spots are conjoined on both wings. The hindwings have two short tails.

Naming

Local names: 波太玄灰蝶, ผีเสื้อกามเทพดำ

Distribution

Found in Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and peninsular Malaysia.

Food

The larval food plant is reported to be Kalanchoe integra.
