
Appearance
Cap: Very pale tan; the volva is spread over the cap as powdery, somewhat pale warts.Gills: Close and cream-colored with short gills present.
Stipe: The stipe ends with a bulb that usually bears a distinct ring of champagne volva powder.

Distribution
This species is mostly known from the northeastern USA, and may also occur in southeastern Canada.References:
