Mushroom - Amanita crenulata Tan cap with a slight pinkish tint. It was slightly sticky and was covered in pale tan patches. The gills were crowded and white. The stipe was white and had an enlarged base.<br />

Amanita crenulata is a very common species in the northeastern USA, occurring most frequently during autumn.
