Haematopis grataria

"Haematopis grataria", the chickweed geometer, is a species of moth of the family Geometridae. It is found throughout the United States. In Canada it is found from Quebec to Alberta, north to the Northwest Territories.
Chickweed Geometer - Haematopis grataria FW were yellowish with two hot pink bands crossing the outer half of wings. It also had 2 pink spots in the median area of the wings.

Appearance

The wingspan is 20–25 mm. Adults are on wing from May to October. It is a day-flying species.

Food

The larvae feed on various low-growing plants, including "Stellaria", "Polygonum" and clover.
