Distribution

This species ranges from eastern Puebla and central Veracruz on the Atlantic slopes and lowlands of Mexico eastward into Tabasco and Chiapas, southward through northern Guatemala to Belize, and northward to the Mexican states of southern Campeche, eastern Quintana Roo, and eastern Yucatan. Elevational range extends from near sea level to about 1,400 meters
