Nomada alboguttata

Nomada alboguttata

They are a type of bee with body length ranging from 6-10 mm (females) and 6-9 mm (males). The females are red-colored and have yellow or whitish spots on the tergites. The labrum is red and carries a tooth in front of the center. The third probe is the same length as the fourth. The nearly monochrome red, densely dotted structured label (Scutellum) has weak cusps. The tracks (tibias) of the hind legs have a tooth at the end and several, very long black, slightly curved arches. The males are mainly black and red, the lower half of the face, the underside of the sensory stem, and the spots on the tergites are pale yellow. The thorax is black, the calli and the tegulae are red-yellow. The third sensing element is significantly shorter than the fourth. The thighs (femora) of the middle and hind legs are short and dense at the bottom. At the end of the hind legs there are some curved thorns in the female.
