Appearance
The striking but somewhat variable black and yellow colour patterns are quite distinctive, but can sometimes cause confusion with the smaller Rhabdomiris striatellus. The nymphs of the two look completely different, with the nymph of Miris striatus clearly being an ant-mimic.References:
