Codophila varia

''Codophila varia'' is a species of ''shield bug'' belonging to the Pentatomidae family Pentatomidae subfamily.

It is present around most of Europe.

The adults reach a body length of 9–14 millimetres and can mainly be encountered from June through August feeding on Asteraceae and Apiaceae species.
