Blue thistle

Carduncellus caeruleus is a species of flower plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. The scientific authority of the species is (L.) C.Presl, having been published in Fl. Sicul. (Prest.) 1: p. Xxx. 1826. Its common name is blue thistle. [2]
