Appearance

It is an ascending plant. Stems up to 50 cm in height, ascending, hairy. Leaves 4-13 cm, with 5-9 pairs of leaflets; Leaflets elliptic or linear-elliptic, mucronate, with glabrous bundle, sericeous underside and marked muv vein. Inflorescence dense, pyramidal, elongated and lax in fruiting, on peduncles longer than leaves, pubescent. Chalice 7-9 mm, with subled teeth much longer than the tube. Corolla of 11-14 mm, with purple banner and white keel. 7-18 mm, very hairy, with c. 1.5 mm, dent margin with 6-11 spines up to 7 mm and lateral ribs with decreasing spines. Flowers and fruits from April to May.1
