Eurispa are relatively small, narrow, elongate leaf beetles. E. vittata measures about 10mm length at only 2mm wide and is clearly distinguished by the purple-ish black head, pronotum, underside of the body and sutural stripe on the elytra.Food
The species supposedly is monophagous on the native sedge, Gahnia sieberiana Kunth (Cyperaceae: Monocotyledonae).References:
