Black-lipped Shrub Lizard
Phoxophrys nigrilabris
Phoxophrys is a genus within the family Agamidae, found in Sumatra and Borneo and some nearby islands. Phoxophrys closely resemble the genus Japalura but differ in a number of characters, for example by absence of dorsal crest and by having relatively shorter and deeper head. Male Phoxophrys have a tail that is swollen basally and is flattened above, whereas the females have cylindrical tails.
Phoxophrys nigrilabris, the Black-lipped Shrub Lizard, is found in shrubs in lowland forests in Borneo and Pulau Sirhassen, an island in the Natuna Archipelago.
