Horvathiolus guttatus

Horvathiolus guttatus

Horvathiolus guttatus is a small red and black bug in the family Lygaeidae. The genus was split off from the similar looking genus Melanocoryphus in 1965 by Josifov and contains some twenty very similar species, mostly concentrated around the Mediterranean, that are often tricky to identify due to intra specific variability.
