The larvae feed on ''Cynanchum'' , ''Gymnema'' , ''Marsdenia'', ''Secamone'', ''Tylophora'' and ''Ipomoea''. Larvae of ssp. ''dominicanus'' feed on ''Gymnema sylvestre''.
