Distribution
Found mostly in the lowlands, ''Chamaeleo laevigatus'' lives throughout much of sub-Saharan Africa. Specimens have been found in Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central African Republic, Zambia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Cameroon.References:
