The Forest Pearl Charaxes is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, the Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia. The habitat consists of dense evergreen forests at low to moderate altitudes.Occasionally inhabits savanna.

The larvae feed on ''Allophylus'' species, including ''Allophylus macrobothrys'', ''Allophylus africanus'', ''Allophylus macrostachys'' and ''Allophylus subcoriaceus''.
