Paropsisterna octolineata is a large beetle in the paropsini tribe of leaf beetles. It is black with red lines running transversely along alternate elytral interstices. The red lines are along slightly raised interstices. Records are confused with several other similar species and is likely to occur only between Sydney and Brisbane in Australia.
