Paropsis variegata

Paropsis variegata

Paropsis variegata is a species of paropsine leaf beetles in the family Chrysomelidae.
Paropsis_variegata_BillyBore This beetle is strongly speckled like many allied species are.
This is my first sighting of this species and if you check the links, the only image available is a dead one I took from the pinned museum collection for reference purposes.
There are two more members of Paropsis genus for Victoria which I will target this season and about three rare ones that I do not realistically expect to find. That is the set. :) Australia,Geotagged,Paropsis variegata,Spring, paropsis
