Turdus fuscater

The great thrush is a species of bird in the family Turdidae. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. At 28–35 cm in length and weighing 128 to 154 g, it is the largest thrush in the Americas, although a couple of Asian species equal or surpass its size.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest, and it is often found near urban areas.
