Ardys Crescent is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found from southern Mexico, through Central America to Colombia.
Ardys Crescent Monteverde, Costa Rica (2014). We found this butterfly sheltering inside our cabin in an awfully rainy evening. The morning after we released her back outside. According to the ventral view shoed in the second web site this could be a male. Habitat: Usually seen in the borders of woodlands and trails.
