The Great Roundleaf Bat is a species of bat in the family Hipposideridae. It is found in China, India, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Bat in the spotlight This bat was found hanging in a batcave in the Kilim Geoforest Park in Langkawi. The spotlight is actually a flashlight that we brought into the cave. Appearance

''Hipposideros armiger'' is similar in appearance to the closely related, Intermediate Roundleaf Bat . However, the Great Roundleaf Bat is larger in size and possesses four, not three, lateral accessory leaflets on each side of the main noseleaf. This bat has a forearm Length of up to 9.8 cm, and
weighs up to 47 g.
