Dasychira basiflava?? As with many other tussock moths, this guy enjoyed climbing all over me. In this shot, he was on the strap of my headlamp, which I wrap around my wrist. I couldn&#039;t resist getting a shot of his handsome face and impressive antennae!<br />

I&#039;m not sure of the species-level ID. I think Dasychira basiflava is most likey, but D. meridionalis and D. vagans are also similar.<br />

Habitat: Attracted to a 395 nm light at night in a rural area.<br />

I'm not sure of the species-level ID. I think Dasychira basiflava is most likey, but D. meridionalis and D. vagans are also similar.
