  1. This is probably a skipper (family Hesperiidae). You can recognize them from their wide/big heads compared to other butterfly families. In dutch we literally call them big heads :) Posted 5 years ago
    1. Good call. I just saw a Hylephila phyleus on budGuide and it does look very much like this butterfly, You can't see by my photo, but it does have a fringe around its outer wing. And this photo on bugguide shows the same type of eye, although the antennae are shoter, but have red tips. Thanks! Posted 5 years ago
